About Us…

Our relationship “officially” began on a blind date in 1999.  Halfway through dinner we realized that we had met 15 years earlier!  After we stopped laughing, we immediately began catching up and soon became inseparable.  The happiest day of our lives was our wedding day in 2002.

We are both active and enjoy cooking, traveling, music, attending sporting events (Go Giants!) and just laughing and spending time with our friends and family.  We have a strong, loving relationship based on mutual respect and open communication.  Together, we have built a happy home that is full of love and laughter, and we are committed to fulfilling our dream of becoming parents and sharing our loving home with a child.

Steve is the Western Regional Vice President of a large international winery and he works from home.  Nancy was in the telecommunications industry for over 15 years.  Nancy is looking forward to being a stay-at-home mom and using her creativity to enhance the life of our child.

Steve’s thoughts about Nancy…

Nancy is very excited about becoming a mother.  She has a heart of gold and is always looking for ways to help people whether it is volunteering for various children’s charities or people in need.  Nancy’s compassion runs as deeply for animals.  There is not an animal out there that she can resist loving.

Nancy is very creative, outgoing, funny and loving.  She loves to make things, whether it’s a delicious meal, floral arrangements from our garden, silly cookies or even cheese – everything turns out beautifully.

Nancy will be a devoted mother and is looking forward to being a stay-at-home mom.  She cannot wait to make Halloween costumes, bake cookies, take long walks in the park or create our little ones first masterpiece with glitter and glue.  She is always the first one to get down on the floor and play with kids.  Nancy just beams with happiness whenever she is around children.  I cannot wait to see the light in her eyes as she holds our baby.

Nancy’s thoughts about Steve…

I love Steve’s sense of humor, creativity and his incredible smile.  He is full of love and patience.   Steve is very loyal to his friends and family and is the type of guy that is always there if you need him.   He is a great listener and remembers every detail of what you say.  Steve has a way of making all my dreams come true.    I never know when he will surprise me with one of my “dreams,” whether it is swimming with a dolphin, going to Italy, a romantic picnic or a sock monkey.

He is a very generous man and full of surprises.  One of my favorite surprises is when he made me a sock monkey by hand for a Christmas gift after I had told him that I always wanted one as a child.  Who knew the man could sew?

I have known that Steve would be a wonderful father since we first began dating.  Children of all ages just love him.  I think it is because he is such a big kid at heart.  He just walks into a room and the kids come running, wanting to play.  He has a way of making each child feel so special.

Steve loves to go to Disneyland, ride bikes, garden and is an exceptional cook.  He is very excited about becoming a father and teaching our little one about all the wonders of the world.  We often talk about our first trip to Disneyland, what costumes they will pick out for Halloween and just how much a child will complete our family.
